Description
2 x CROSSED CHEQUERED FLAGS STICKERS
Size 95mm wide x 65 mm tall.
A nice decorative sticker with a racing theme.
WIKI Fact: The chequered flag originated at the Glidden Tours, a road rally in 1906. Each section of the course was time-checked by race officials called ‘checkers’ and they used chequered flags to identify them.
The earliest photographic record of a chequered flag being used by checkers to end a race was from the 1906 Vanderbilt Cup race held in Long Island, New York.
We print our stickers on high-quality vehicle-grade vinyl, which is suitable for both interior and exterior.
Application:
Before you apply your stickers, the first thing to remember is: Always make sure the surface is clean, smooth, dry, free from grease, silicone, resin polish, including ceramic coatings. This will allow for optimum adhesion. It is also equally important to make sure you use a soft, clean cloth, do not rub the sticker. Finally, prick any air bubbles with a pin.
